Between Fairy Worlds and Quiet Sensuality
throughout 2023 and 2024. Our collaboration began in a visual world particularly close to her: cosplay, fantasy, and the joy of stepping into another character for a moment. Above all, she has a fascination with the world of fairies, which repeatedly became the starting point for our shared ideas.
In front of the camera, she is wonderfully relaxed and natural. She plays with characters and moods without ever making them feel overly staged. This natural ease made it possible for us to explore very different photographic directions together.
And so our work did not remain limited to cosplay. Over the course of our collaboration, we created images both in the studio and on location, through individual shoots as well as workshops. Our visual language expanded from imaginative scenes and portraits to reduced works in the field of fine nude art. It was precisely this range that revealed her versatility: sometimes playful and immersed in fantasy, sometimes calm, direct, and focused on the essential.

Away from the camera, I came to know Le_fay_Niniane as an exceptionally warm and easygoing person. Open to new ideas, flexible in our collaboration, and with a passion for cooking that seems at least as strong as her enthusiasm for fantastic worlds.
Our photographic collaboration came to an end in 2024. What remains are images from two intensive years, revealing very different facets — and a collaboration in which transformation and naturalness were never opposites.

"Autumn Enchantment"
There are places where reality feels just a little closer to a fairytale. Wrapped in the warm colours of autumn and surrounded by ancient stone, she seems to belong to the landscape itself. Light, nature and imagination meet in a single moment, inviting the viewer to believe in a little magic once again.

Es gibt Orte, an denen die Wirklichkeit für einen Moment wie ein Märchen wirkt. Umgeben von den warmen Farben des Herbstes und alten Mauern scheint sie mit der Landschaft zu verschmelzen. Licht, Natur und Fantasie begegnen sich in einem einzigen Augenblick und laden dazu ein, wieder ein wenig an Magie zu glauben.
"Between the Flames"
Four candles cut through the darkness while her face remains caught between light and obscurity. Lace, soft contours and the restrained glow create an intimate atmosphere that feels almost removed from time. There is no need for movement or gesture – the lowered gaze and the stillness of the scene carry the photograph, somewhere between contemplation, sensuality and quiet mystery.

Vier Kerzen durchbrechen die Dunkelheit, während ihr Gesicht zwischen Licht und Verborgenheit bleibt. Spitze, weiche Konturen und das zurückhaltende Leuchten schaffen eine intime Atmosphäre, die beinahe aus der Zeit gefallen scheint. Bewegung oder große Gesten braucht es nicht – der gesenkte Blick und die Ruhe der Szene tragen das Bild, irgendwo zwischen Nachdenklichkeit, Sinnlichkeit und einem Hauch von Geheimnis.
"Between Worlds"
For a moment, the ordinary seems to lose its boundaries. Warm light, fiery red hair and a distant gaze create the impression of a figure who belongs somewhere between reality and imagination. The pointed ears may tell of another world – but it is the quiet expression that leaves the story open.

Für einen Moment scheint das Gewöhnliche seine Grenzen zu verlieren. Warmes Licht, feuerrotes Haar und ein Blick in die Ferne lassen eine Figur entstehen, die irgendwo zwischen Realität und Fantasie zu Hause sein könnte. Die spitzen Ohren erzählen vielleicht von einer anderen Welt – doch erst der ruhige Ausdruck lässt die Geschichte offen.
"Drawn to the Light"
There is a rare beauty in quiet confidence. Without seeking attention, she allows the light to shape the moment, revealing only fragments while leaving the rest to imagination. It is in this balance between softness and strength that true elegance finds its voice.

Es liegt eine besondere Schönheit in stiller Selbstverständlichkeit. Ohne Aufmerksamkeit zu suchen, überlässt sie dem Licht die Aufgabe, den Moment zu formen. Es zeigt nur Fragmente und überlässt alles andere der Fantasie. Genau in diesem Gleichgewicht zwischen Sanftheit und Stärke entfaltet sich eine zeitlose Eleganz.
"Dressed for the Underground"
Elegance rarely chooses the obvious stage. A black dress, red hair and an old mine where steel, rails and decades of hard work have left their marks. The contrast does the rest: glamour meets industrial decay, confidence meets a place that was never meant to be beautiful.

Eleganz sucht sich nicht immer die offensichtliche Bühne. Ein schwarzes Kleid, rotes Haar und ein altes Bergwerk, in dem Stahl, Schienen und Jahrzehnte harter Arbeit ihre Spuren hinterlassen haben. Den Rest erledigt der Kontrast: Glamour trifft auf industrielle Vergänglichkeit, selbstbewusste Präsenz auf einen Ort, der nie dafür gedacht war, schön zu sein.
"Hidden Between Light"
There is a quiet honesty in moments that ask for nothing. Light gently traces every contour without revealing everything, leaving space for imagination instead of certainty. The portrait becomes less about the visible and more about the emotions that unfold in the delicate balance between presence and mystery.

Es gibt eine leise Ehrlichkeit in Momenten, die nichts verlangen. Das Licht zeichnet behutsam jede Kontur nach, ohne alles preiszugeben, und lässt der Fantasie mehr Raum als der Gewissheit. So erzählt dieses Portrait nicht vom Sichtbaren, sondern von den Gefühlen, die zwischen Präsenz und Geheimnis entstehen.
"The Next Move"
Some stories begin with a card on the table and a decision still waiting to be made. Her finger points toward the game, yet the scene feels as if it holds more than rules and chance. Perhaps she already knows her next move. Perhaps she simply enjoys keeping everyone guessing.

Manche Geschichten beginnen mit einer Karte auf dem Tisch und einer Entscheidung, die noch nicht gefallen ist. Ihr Finger weist auf das Spiel, doch die Szene wirkt, als ginge es um mehr als Regeln und Zufall. Vielleicht kennt sie ihren nächsten Zug längst. Vielleicht genießt sie es auch einfach, alle im Ungewissen zu lassen.
"Whisper of the Forest"
Some stories seem to exist long before they are ever told. Hidden between ancient trees and soft summer light, imagination quietly blends with reality until the boundary between both begins to disappear. "Whisper of the Forest" captures a fleeting moment where nature, fantasy and craftsmanship come together, inviting us to believe—if only for an instant—that magic still lingers beneath the leaves.

Manche Geschichten scheinen schon zu existieren, lange bevor sie erzählt werden. Zwischen alten Bäumen und sanftem Sommerlicht verschwimmen Fantasie und Wirklichkeit, bis ihre Grenzen kaum noch zu erkennen sind. "Whisper of the Forest" fängt einen flüchtigen Augenblick ein, in dem Natur, Fantasie und handwerklich gestaltetes Cosplay zu einer stimmungsvollen Szene verschmelzen und für einen Moment den Gedanken zulassen, dass Magie vielleicht doch noch existiert.
"Whispers Beyond the Arch"
Some places seem to exist between reality and imagination. Standing at the edge of the old stone archway, she could be a traveler from another world—or perhaps a woodland fairy who stepped quietly into ours. Inspired by the magic of fantasy cosplay, the scene leaves room for wonder, where ancient walls, soft light and a fleeting moment become part of the same untold story.

Es gibt Orte, die wirken, als lägen sie irgendwo zwischen Wirklichkeit und Fantasie. Am Eingang des alten Gemäuers scheint sie eher eine Reisende aus einer anderen Welt zu sein – oder vielleicht eine Waldfee, die für einen kurzen Moment den Weg in unsere gefunden hat. Inspiriert von der Welt des Fantasy-Cosplays erzählt das Bild keine feste Geschichte, sondern lädt dazu ein, sie selbst entstehen zu lassen – zwischen alten Mauern, sanftem Licht und einem Hauch von Magie.

Lost between the pages of an old journal, the world grows quiet. Inspired by classic fantasy and fairy tales, this cosplay portrait captures a fleeting moment where imagination and nature seem to become one.

Verloren zwischen den Seiten eines alten Notizbuchs wird die Welt für einen Moment ganz still. Inspiriert von klassischen Fantasy-Geschichten und Feenmärchen fängt dieses Cosplay-Portrait einen Augenblick ein, in dem Fantasie und Natur miteinander verschmelzen.
"White Against the Dark"
Delicate lace against the rough walls of an old mine. Warm light catches her red hair while the tunnel behind her disappears into darkness. Two worlds that should hardly belong together — fragility and industry, softness and steel — and yet it is precisely this contradiction that gives the moment its intensity.

Zarte Spitze vor den rauen Wänden eines alten Bergwerks. Warmes Licht fängt sich in ihrem roten Haar, während der Stollen hinter ihr in der Dunkelheit verschwindet. Zwei Welten, die kaum zusammengehören sollten – Zerbrechlichkeit und Industrie, Weichheit und Stahl – und doch ist es genau dieser Widerspruch, der dem Moment seine Intensität gibt.
„Close to Silence“
A gaze that doesn’t ask – it holds.
Close, intense, almost weightless in the way it lingers.
Light moves softly across the skin,
finding its way through strands of hair,
touching without revealing everything.
Nothing here is loud.
No gesture demands attention,
no expression forces a meaning.
And yet, it stays.
Because sometimes it’s not about what is shown,
but what is felt in between.
A quiet presence,
just a breath away.

Ein Blick, der nicht sucht – sondern hält.
Nah, intensiv, fast schwerelos in seiner Wirkung.
Das Licht streift sanft über die Haut,
verliert sich im Haar,
berührt, ohne alles preiszugeben.
Nichts ist laut.
Keine Geste drängt sich auf,
kein Ausdruck verlangt nach Erklärung.
Und doch bleibt es.
Weil es nicht darum geht, was gezeigt wird,
sondern was dazwischen spürbar ist.
Eine leise Präsenz,
nur einen Atemzug entfernt.

Le_fay_Niniane trifft auf ein Telefon…
und plötzlich ist man mitten in einer Catweazle-Folge.
Dieses Gesicht sagt ganz klar:
„Das ist kein Gerät. Das ist Hexerei.“
Ein vorsichtiger Finger auf der Tastatur,
als könnte gleich ein Blitz erscheinen
oder jemand aus dem Hörer heraus zaubern.
Der legendäre Elektriktrick –
immer noch gefährlich,
immer noch verdächtig,
immer noch ziemlich faszinierend.

Le_fay_Niniane meets a telephone…
and suddenly it feels like an episode of Catweazle.
That expression clearly says:
“This isn’t a device. It’s witchcraft.”
A careful finger on the keypad,
as if a lightning bolt might appear
or someone could be summoned from the receiver.
The famous electric trick —
still dangerous,
still suspicious,
still oddly fascinating.

„Zwischen den Ahornträumen“
Ihr Blick folgt dem Licht, das durch das dichte Blätterdach des roten Ahorns fällt – aufmerksam, fast nachdenklich. Die warmen Töne ihres Haares harmonieren mit der Umgebung, als wäre sie ein Teil dieser stillen, verwunschenen Szene. Ihr weißes Gewand und die sanfte Haltung lassen eine leise Verbindung zu etwas entstehen, das jenseits des Alltäglichen liegt.
Diese Szene entführt dich in eine Welt, in der Elfenflüstern und der Duft von Blütenzauber noch lebendig sind. Es ist ein Moment voller Sehnsucht und leiser Melancholie, eingefangen in einem romantischen Augenblick jenseits der Zeit.
Das Bild entstand im Mai 2023 während eines Cosplay-Shootings aus dem Bereich Feenwelten – eine Hommage an die zarte Schönheit fantastischer Träume.
