PHOTORIA is a magazine dedicated to photography, with a clear focus on people photography.

Each issue explores a specific visual language or theme – sometimes minimalistic in black and white, sometimes vibrant in color, or focused on genres like portrait, boudoir, or dance.

The goal is to make authenticity and atmosphere visible.

Every issue begins with In Focus, a personal photo series by myself – intimate, close, and an invitation to dive deeper into the world of photography.
It’s the visual signature that defines PHOTORIA.

After that, the Spotlight Series open the stage for other photographers.
Different styles and creative voices meet here, making each issue diverse and alive – and giving the photographers a platform that expands their reach and visibility beyond PHOTORIA itself.

The Community Spotlights highlight individual, striking photos that tell their own stories.
Each image stands on its own, pointing to the photographer behind it – often accompanied by an Instagram link, ensuring that not only the picture, but also its creator, gets the attention they deserve.

The magazine is complemented by lighting sketches, setup diagrams, and short how-tos, offering both insights and inspiration for your own projects.

Finally, interviews with photographers – and occasionally with models – add extra perspectives: motivation, decision-making on set, and the creative path toward the image – concise, authentic, and practical.

PHOTORIA is more than just a magazine full of photos.
It’s a stage, a workshop, and a source of inspiration – created by photographers for everyone who wants to see, feel, and think photography beyond the frame.

📸 PHOTORIA is published in English.
The magazine is aimed at photographers from around the world – an international stage for people photography, creative ideas, and inspiring visual stories.
Whether you’re based in Germany, Europe, or beyond – PHOTORIA connects you with a global audience that wants to see, feel, and think photography beyond the frame.

The Spotlight Series are the heart of PHOTORIA. Here, photographers have the space to present a small, self-contained series – showcasing their own signature and visual language.

The Spotlight Series are meant to inspire, highlight different styles, and spark a passion for photography. Each series is published with the photographer’s name and a social media link, allowing readers to discover your work beyond the magazine itself.

Requirements for your series:

  • Theme: People photography, in line with the issue’s main topic
  • Scope: 4–8 images forming a small, cohesive series or story
  • Details: Title and short text about your series (optional), social media or website link
The Community Spotlights give individual, striking photos their moment on stage. Each image stands on its own, is published with the photographer’s name and a social media link, and showcases the diversity of people photography in every issue of PHOTORIA.

This allows photographers to participate even if they don’t want to submit a complete series – and still become part of the magazine.

Requirements for Community Spotlights:

  • Theme: People photography, matching the issue’s main topic
  • Scope: 2–3 images for selection
  • Details: Title and short text about the photos (optional), social media or website link
To ensure your images fit perfectly into the layout, please note the following:
