Selected photographs are transformed into interpretive sketches that gradually evolve into a cohesive visual narrative. The Idea Behind Fragments of Silence
Some photographs tell their story the moment they are created. Others begin a second life long after the shutter has been released.
Fragments of Silence grew from exactly that idea. Selected photographs become sketches that do not imitate the original, but reinterpret it. Lines replace details, textures reshape perception, and familiar images evolve into quiet, reduced compositions. What remains is no longer a faithful representation of a moment, but its atmosphere.

Each artwork is part of an ongoing creative process in which photography and artistic interpretation merge into a new visual language. Some sketches change several times, while others disappear from the selection altogether. Every decision is guided by the desire to create a coherent and atmospheric visual narrative.
Fragments of Silence is not a retrospective of existing photographs. It is the discovery of images that have always been hidden within them.

The Idea Takes Shape
What began as a collection of individual photographic sketches gradually evolved into the vision of a dedicated Fine Art Book. At this stage there was no title, no structure and no fixed concept—only the feeling that these artworks belonged together and deserved their own visual journey.

The project finds its identity. With the working title Fragments of Silence, the idea grows beyond a simple collection of sketches. First thoughts emerge about the visual rhythm of the book, its atmosphere and the story it will eventually tell.
