Ante Perry & Friends pres. Perrydise Motel: Electronic Music Under the Open Sky

Summer vibes, electronic beats, and a high-class line-up at the Spatengarten in Freischütz Schwerte: my photographic look back at “Ante Perry & Friends pres. Perrydise Motel”.

Ante Perry & Friends pres. Perrydise Motel: Electronic Music Under the Open Sky
When I arrived at the Spatengarten at Freischütz Schwerte in the afternoon, there was little sign of the energy that would fill the venue just a few hours later.
A handful of visitors had already found their place, the first conversations were taking shape, and the opening beats drifted through the air. The atmosphere felt relaxed, almost familiar. And that was exactly what made the day so special. Nobody seemed to be in a hurry. Nobody wanted to miss a moment. The music would bring everyone together soon enough.
With “Ante Perry & Friends pres. Perrydise Motel”, the Spatengarten became the setting for a day filled with electronic music. Together with promoter Bernd Hagen and econvent GmbH, host Ante Perry brought a high-profile line-up to Schwerte.
As Jörgi opened the musical journey, more and more visitors arrived. Conversations became livelier, the dance floor grew busier, and the atmosphere evolved with every passing hour. What started as a relaxed summer afternoon gradually turned into an open-air event full of energy and festival spirit.
Later in the day, Turntablerocker delivered one of the event’s highlights. The duo of Michael “Michi” Beck and Thomas “Thomilla” Burchia created those special moments when music and audience seem to merge into one. Phil Fuldner and TTeo also played their part in turning a beautiful summer day into a memorable experience.
Between Stage, Audience, and Summer Evenings
For me as a photographer, events like this are always about far more than a sequence of performances. Of course, powerful images are created on stage. But the real stories often unfold where nobody is actively looking.
People laughing together. Friends moving to the rhythm of the music. Visitors enjoying the moment. Brief encounters between artists and guests. And again and again, the warm evening light that gave the entire venue its distinctive atmosphere.
Open-air events have a character all their own. Stage, audience, and surroundings blend into a shared story. Music becomes the common thread that connects everyone and creates memories that last long after the final track has faded away.
As the sun slowly sank lower and the beats echoed through the Spatengarten, that special atmosphere emerged – difficult to describe, yet instantly felt by everyone who was there. A mixture of freedom, community, and the simple joy of experiencing music together.
More Than Just an Event
“Ante Perry & Friends pres. Perrydise Motel” was far more than an open-air music event. It was a day filled with music, encounters, and memorable moments. A day that demonstrated how perfectly electronic music, a unique venue, and the right people can come together.
What remains for me are memories of countless small moments between stage and audience, outstanding artists, and an atmosphere that transformed the Spatengarten at Freischütz Schwerte into a place full of energy and positivity.
