Vintage Project

Rock from Iserlohn

Sometimes a single chord is enough to fill a room. Loud, raw, and direct — yet full of soul. That’s exactly how I experienced Vintage Project: a rock band from Iserlohn that brings the sound of classic rock into the present, driven by passion, joy of playing, and an energy that instantly becomes contagious.

For me, photography means showing more than just moments. With Vintage Project, my aim is to make the stories behind the music visible — the energy, the emotions, the magic between band and audience.

Each image becomes a small piece of rock history — authentic, atmospheric, and full of life.

Vintage Project

Vintage Project consists of six musicians who don’t just know their rock roots — they live them. Their songs have rough edges, sometimes powerful, sometimes melancholic, but always honest. Whether on stage or in the rehearsal room, you can feel that this isn’t just about playing music. Stories are being told — through guitar riffs, a warm voice, and a groove that refuses to let anyone stand still.

Before the band sets their audience in motion, I visited them where everything begins: the rehearsal room. A place that is more than four walls and amplifiers — this is where the magic happens. Here, I got to know the musicians, their dynamics, their quiet moments within a loud environment. As a photographer, these contrasts are exactly what fascinates me: not only the big gestures under stage lights, but also the small moments of closeness and authenticity.

In October and November 2025, I will accompany Vintage Project at two live concerts. My goal is to capture the energy and intensity of their performances. When the lights come up, the first song fills the room, and the band merges with the audience — that’s when images are created that tell stories. Images that go beyond documentation and make atmosphere visible.

With Vintage Project, I expand my portfolio in the field of live music photography. The combination of rehearsal room impressions and concert photography results in a series that shows the band from two perspectives: close and personal, yet powerful under the stage lights.

This is how a project full of authenticity and atmosphere comes to life — exactly what defines my photography.
