Face to Face

A fine art portrait project – about closeness, presence, and expression
Face to Face is a fine art project dedicated entirely to the human face.
Not as a mask, not as a role — but as a space.
A space for closeness, for tension, for stillness.

Face to Face

Face to Face

Between light, skin, and what remains unspoken

At the center are portraits that do not seek to explain.
They do not tell stories — they allow them to emerge.
Between gaze and gesture, between skin and light, a moment takes shape that lingers.

Face to Face is an invitation to pause.
To look — without expectation.

It is not about perfection, but about presence.
About faces that do not need to perform in order to resonate.
About people who reveal themselves without staging.

The portraits are created primarily in quiet settings, reduced to light, expression, and proximity.
Each image becomes a dialogue — between camera and person, between distance and trust.

From this project emerged the fine art book Face to Face.
A carefully curated selection of portraits, consistently reduced to the essentials.

The book is conceived as a calm visual journey —
without chapters, without explanations, without loud transitions.
A book that leaves space. For gaze, presence, and stillness.

The Faces Behind the Silence

Behind every image lies an encounter.
Not loud, not staged – but shaped through conversations, trust, and shared moments.

Face to Face brings together people I have met over the years.
Some only for a brief moment, others over a longer period of time.
What connects them is not the individual image, but what emerges for a moment between camera and person.

The carousel presents a selection of these encounters.
Individual portraits, fragments, glances – each standing on its own, yet part of a larger whole.

A click leads deeper into the respective work.
To more images, to further context, to what has grown out of an encounter.

Not all models have a dedicated gallery yet.
Some remain intentionally part of this moment.

What unfolds here is neither a catalog nor a chronology.
But an open archive of closeness, memory, and time.
