Face to Face
A fine art portrait project – about closeness, presence, and expressionFace to Face is a fine art project dedicated entirely to the human face.
Not as a mask, not as a role — but as a space.
A space for closeness, for tension, for stillness.
Face to Face
Between light, skin, and what remains unspoken
At the center are portraits that do not seek to explain.
They do not tell stories — they allow them to emerge.
Between gaze and gesture, between skin and light, a moment takes shape that lingers.
Face to Face is an invitation to pause.
To look — without expectation.
It is not about perfection, but about presence.
About faces that do not need to perform in order to resonate.
About people who reveal themselves without staging.
The portraits are created primarily in quiet settings, reduced to light, expression, and proximity.
Each image becomes a dialogue — between camera and person, between distance and trust.
From this project emerged the fine art book Face to Face.
A carefully curated selection of portraits, consistently reduced to the essentials.
The book is conceived as a calm visual journey —
without chapters, without explanations, without loud transitions.
A book that leaves space. For gaze, presence, and stillness.

The Faces Behind the Silence
Behind every image lies a story.
Not loud, not staged — but shaped by encounters, conversations, and shared moments.
Face to Face brings together people who have crossed my path over the years.
Some only briefly, others over a longer period of time.
What connects them is not the image itself, but the trust that emerges for a moment between camera and person.
This page tells of those encounters.
Of moods, situations, and small stories that emerged during the shoots — often quiet, sometimes intense, always personal.
The portraits gathered here form an archive of human closeness.
Not a catalogue, not a chronology — but a mosaic of moments, memories, and shared presence.
For some of the models, additional galleries and further insights are available.
These are marked with an asterisk (*) within the overview.
