A shared phase between closeness and development
Our collaboration began in 2012, when Christin introduced herself at my studio. What initially seemed like a typical first meeting quickly evolved into an intensive photographic phase — shaped by curiosity, trust, and a shared openness.
Over the following two years, numerous works were created — in the studio as well as outdoors, across changing light and situations. Christin was part of several portrait and fashion shoots and also joined workshops, where she not only stood in front of the camera, but actively contributed to the process.

It was a time of exploration, of searching and learning — on both sides.
In late summer 2014, our paths separated, quietly and without rupture, as some encounters do when they have reached their moment.
What remains are images.
And the memory of a phase in which trust, openness, and creative closeness defined the space.

„Bare Grace“

Ein Moment zwischen zwei Gedanken.
Der Blick ist offen, nah, fast tastend – als würde er nicht gesehen werden wollen, sondern gespürt.
Das Licht legt sich sanft auf die Haut, lässt Konturen verschwimmen und Nähe entstehen.
Nichts ist inszeniert, nichts behauptet sich.
Nur ein Augenblick, der bleibt, weil er nicht festgehalten werden will.
Ein leiser Dialog zwischen Präsenz und Hingabe.

Ein Blick aus der Nähe – nicht laut, nicht fordernd, aber unmöglich zu übersehen.
Die Distanz verschwindet, übrig bleibt nur dieser eine Moment, der sich nicht erklären will.
Das Licht legt sich weich über die Haut, lässt Übergänge verschwimmen und schafft Raum für Nuancen.
Kein klarer Anfang, kein eindeutiges Ende – nur dieses Dazwischen, das länger bleibt, als es sollte.
Die Hand im Haar, eine Bewegung, die nicht abgeschlossen ist.

Ein Profil, gezeichnet aus Licht und Schatten.
Keine Details, nur Konturen – reduziert auf das, was bleibt, wenn alles Überflüssige verschwindet.
Das Licht streift den Körper, tastet sich über Haut und Form, ohne je ganz zu greifen.
Alles bleibt Fragment, Andeutung, ein leises Spiel aus Sichtbarkeit und Geheimnis.
Der Blick geht nach vorn, ruhig, entschlossen.
Keine Inszenierung, kein Moment für das Außen – nur diese stille Präsenz im Dunkel.

Der Blick ist ruhig, fast versunken – als würde er etwas erinnern, das gerade erst vergangen ist.
Zwischen Haut und Licht liegt eine leise Spannung, ein Atemzug zu viel, ein Gedanke zu wenig.
Die Welt scheint für einen Augenblick stillzustehen, während sich Nähe nicht aufdrängt, sondern einfach da ist.
